Who would have thought.

Oh life, when did you get so good?

In just a few short months I have met the man of my dreams, got engaged to him and am now in full fletched wedding plan mode.  Thanks to the help of amazing girlfriends and a fiance who finds this kind of thing fun too.  The to do list is huge but with a venue and date locked in, it's finally real.

Hello to blogging! Perhaps I can set up a challenge to myself and blog my way through the planning, the day and the married life.  I'm a small goals person so I should just start with the blogging of the planning first.  With no expectation on myself I may just be able to do this and let the blogging be my peace of mind.....

Maybe I can be some kind of inspiration as well.

// So far the to do list is:
1. Finalise a colour scheme.
2. Ask Bridesmaids.

That will be enough for this week.

// Also on my mind
1. Essays x2.
2. Warrant and car registration due.
3. Exams.

But still, life is good!

In another life.

Thank you to my amazing friend and flatmate Rachel!
She is so creative and made my blog theme for me!  I hope one day I'll be half as creative as she is.

I have been thinking recently about all the things I could have done besides teaching.  If my thoughts were a blog it would be called 'in another life'.
It doesn't help that I am a frequent Pinterest cronie and find hobbies that make me want to buy an old shop, a whole lot of tea pots, make cakes and press flowers.

Mums are champs.

Every time I come home I am inspired to make things that I have seen in my mothers house or on the beloved pinterest. It is scary how long I can scrawl that website.  It's an odd feeling. I am always left wanting.  Especially if I've entertained the craft and DIY section for 4 hours.  Anyways, the reason for this rambling is that I have made quite a few pretties today.  I made my first collar and spent an hour slaving over copper wire trying to create a bow ear cuff.  And I found some spring colour nail polish and pampered my wee self. Good day.

Thanks to my mum for her patience in slowly teaching me to sew and crochet. I rave about a project and then give up half way to leave her finishing all my sloppy and lazy patchwork.  I am getting better though.  I look forward to her decorating my wedding, home and garden while teaching me all the way. My kiddies will be very blessed.
